Hemsedal Golf Alpin
This is an 18-hole alpine golf course, located at around 600 m.a.s, beside the regional road RV 52 between Gol and Hemsedal. The course is surrounded by tall pines, woodlands, idyllic meres and marshy spaces. A magnificent mountain range presides to the west showcasing the stunningly beautiful Hydnefossen Waterfall, which has a single drop of 160 metres (520ft). The renowned British golf course architect Jeremy Turner has without doubt succeeded in incorporating the landscape as a ‘picture frame’ for the golf course.
The course has the following:
Driving Range.
Practice area with a putting green and sand bunker.
Pro-shop, lockers and toilets.
New clubhouse with café (owned by Hallingdal Golfklubb).
Hallingdal Golfklubb is the golf course’s private members’ club.
Season/opening hours: May to October.
